Children’s Healthcare Australasia cordially invites all interested members and representatives to the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM will be held in person at the Crowne Plaza Adelaide, Mawson Lakes, SA, in conjunction with the Paediatric Units Insight Forum, and will also be accessible via Zoom web conference as follows:

Meeting Agenda
President and Board Chair, Mr. John Stanway, will present an update on CHA’s activities and finances for the 2024-2025 financial year. Following the President’s report, members will elect Directors to the Board and appoint an Auditor for 2025-26. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and share comments with the Board of Directors and the CEO of CHA.
Call for Board Director Nominations
closing COB Friday 10 October 2025
According to CHA’s Constitution, one-third of elected Directors must resign their positions annually. Board members whose terms will expire at the 2025 Annual General Meeting are eligible to re-nominate for a second term if they wish.
CHA invites nominations from interested individuals within member organisations for the following position which will be available on the Board:
- 2 individuals with current experience of children’s healthcare provided by a tertiary children’s hospital (large CHA member)
- 3 individuals with current experience of children’s healthcare in generalist hospitals with a paediatric unit(s) (small and medium members)
All members across both Australia and New Zealand are invited to nominate interested individuals with the relevant experience and interest in taking up this elected Director position. Should more nominations be received than there are vacancies, an election will be held at the AGM.

How Do I Nominate?
To nominate an individual as a candidate to become a CHA Director please discuss this with the person you wish to nominate and gain their assent, then fill in the Nominate a Director form and return it to CHA by COB Friday 10 October 2025.
