Maeve is the Nursing Director, in the Women and Children’s Division in Northern Adelaide LHN. Maeve trained as a Nurse in Ireland before emigrating to Australia in 1987. She has worked in multiple clinical, management, leadership and project management roles across NSW and South Australia in that time. Maeve is passionate about delivering compassionate efficient care for children, having a early intervention approach and actively contributing to system reform.

During our recent CHA Director of Nursing meeting, the topic of Nurse Practitioners arose and how valuable the role is, providing consistency and longevity within paediatric services.
