Consumer Engagement Leaders
A network of paediatric leaders with an interest in engagement strategies, solutions and initiatives that can be used when working alongside consumers – the children and young people we care for and their families. The purpose of the group is to share ideas about improving the consumer experience in ways that matter most to them.

- The Analysis and Integration of Patient Experience Data: let’s share how we can do this effectively! – explores how two children’s health services use AI-driven analysis and structured communication strategies to turn large volumes of patient experience data into targeted improvements in care.
- QCH Paediatric Sepsis Program Family Support Initiative and CAHS WA AHPEQS-Adolescent PREM tool and Cultural Safety Indicator – highlights how QCH and CAHS WA are strengthening patient-centred care through family-designed sepsis support, a co-created adolescent PREM tool, and a culturally informed safety indicator.
- Development of a Paediatric Patient Reported Measure – showcases the national, rights-based paediatric patient-reported experience measure that amplifies children’s voices, exploring how it was developed and its progression into pilot and validation.
