Australia’s states and territories have joined forces in a unique and transformative partnership thatharnesses technology to improve the health and well-being of Australian children.
CareTrack Kids is a landmark national study on the standard of healthcare for children in Australia. The study found that children received care in-line with clinical practice guideline recommendations on average 60 percent (59.8%) of the time for 17 common medical conditions.
Lead author Rebecca Mitchell from Macquarie University's Australian Institute of Health Innovation has published a paper titled, "Intentional self-harm and assault hospitalisations and treatment cost of children in Australia over a 10-year period".
