Children’s Healthcare Australasia is pleased to be collaborating with a new alliance of clinicians, researchers and others who are committed to reducing preventable childhood injuries.   Injury is the leading cause of death in Australian children and results in more than twice the number of hospital admissions due to cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease combined every year. Australia is one of the only developed nations without a child injury action plan and currently ranks 16th in global childhood outcomes.
