The children’s ward is a 30-bed inpatient ward that provides care to children up to 16 years of age. To support the continuum of care a Paediatric Outreach outpatient service provides a 7-day service. Paediatric services are provided within a multi-disciplinary team approach and family centred care underpins practice.

About your opportunity
The role of the Clinical Nurse Consultant is to facilitate and provide nursing leadership, support, education, clinical supervision and mentoring within the nursing team, complex case management and to facilitate the provision of comprehensive, individualised, quality patient care to children.

Generous remuneration package value up to $137,278 p.a. comprising salary range of $110,499 - $119,964 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7), 17.5% leave loading, 12.75 % employer contribution to superannuation. Role Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing and AHPRA registration.
  • Possession of a relevant post graduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable.
