Consultation for Proposed Registration Standard: Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines for Registered Nurses Prescribing in Partnership

CHA will be submitting a joint Consultation for the Proposed Registration standard: Endorsement for scheduled medicines for registered nurses prescribing in partnership.

Background: The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) sets the national standards, codes and guidelines that nurses and midwives must meet to be registered in Australia. The NMBA is consulting on the proposed Registration standard: Endorsement for scheduled medicines for registered nurses prescribing in partnership and Guidelines: For registered nurses applying for and with the endorsement for scheduled medicines – prescribing in partnership and invites comments and feedback from interested parties. The NMBA seeks your feedback to the public consultation proposed Registration standard: Endorsement for scheduled medicines for registered nurses prescribing in partnership and Guidelines: For registered nurses applying for and with the endorsement for scheduled medicines – prescribing in partnership and is interested in feedback to specific questions. You can participate by:

  • Email dee@wcha.asn.au  any key issues you would like us to raise on your behalf as we will be doing a submission on behalf of our membership. Please send me your comments by 10 September 2018.
