CHA Paediatric Emergency Care Face to Face Insight Forum 2019

Why attend?

CHA is excited to be offering clinicians involved in managing and delivering emergency paediatric care to come together for a rich 2 day meeting of networking and shared learning.  Whether you work in a dedicated ED in a Children’s Hospital or in a busy mixed ED seeing both adults and children, this meeting will provide an opportunity to network with peers, share insights on common challenges and learn about successes in meeting the needs of children & their families.  

What will the program cover?

CHA is currently developing the program in consultation with members of our Emergency Paediatric Care Special Interest Group.  Themes that will be addressed at the meeting include:

  • Innovative models of care for children in the ED
  • Safety & Quality of emergency care for children & young people
  • Partnering with children & their families in a stressful environment
  • Recruiting and retaining the workforce you need
  • Innovations in staffing and skillmix
  • Lessons learnt from design/redesign of paediatric ED facilities

Who should attend?

This meeting will include a mixed group of medical, nursing and allied health leaders and clinicians.  If you have a passion for excellence in paediatric emergency care, you are invited to join us!  Students and parents/carers are also welcome.
