Breastfeeding Conferences proudly presents ‘Infant Feeding: In whose interest’.

A two day conference in Melbourne and Online webinar.

This conference that will bring together some of the world's most respected researchers and thinkers in the eld of human lactation and public health in an effort to address some of the barriers that stand in the way of improved infant and young child feeding (IYCF) practices globally. With a target audience of public health officers, government officials, medical doctors, social workers, lactation consultants and all those who advocate and care for infants, the conference will raise awareness of current developments in the international policy arena aimed at creating an enabling environment for optimal IYCF, and neutralizing the conflicts of interest that undermine it. Part of the profits (20%) from the Conference will be used to start a Breastfeeding innovation and promotion fund to assist groups who have an innovative approach to supporting breastfeeding.
